Maddalena Realty Group Returns to Weichert, Realtors

BEDMINSTER, N.J. – October 16, 2019 – Sara Miniman, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Bedminster office, is pleased to announce that seasoned sales associates JoAnn Maddalena and Bob Helmbrecht have joined her sales team. Known as Maddalena Realty Group, these married real estate professionals previously worked at Weichert from 2003 to 2016 in the Branchburg and Warren offices before spending some time at another brokerage. It’s not surprising, however, that Weichert’s new branding, one-stop shopping and agent-centric approach has now drawn the team back to the company.

“We came back because we are excited about the investments Weichert is making in their new technology platform and their agents' success,” Helmbrecht said.

Married for 23 years, Helmbrecht said the fact that he and Maddalena are a team both professionally and personally helps create a healthy work/life balance. “We love working together as a husband and wife team. We both have different strengths that complement each other, which helps us to be much more efficient than if we were working separately.”

Both associates hold a master’s degree in library science, which has been surprisingly instrumental in their success in real estate.

“As librarians, we were trained to gather and evaluate information from a wide variety of sources. We were also trained on how to interview someone to really find out what was needed and wanted in a situation,” Helmbrecht explained. “These skills transfer very well to real estate in preparing market evaluations, making repair recommendations, and in ensuring that we are meeting our clients' needs.”

Their shared skillsets have had a major impact on their work style, which they describe as tech-savvy and always focused on customer service.
