Weichert's 17th Annual Charity Outing Scheduled for August 17

Weichert, Realtors will host its 17th Annual Charity Outing on Thursday, Aug. 17, at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J. The event will raise funds for the American Cancer Society to benefit breast cancer research. Our new chairperson is Weichert Regional Vice President Robyn Barone.

“Each year, we are reminded during this time how often breast cancer hits close to home for so many of our colleagues, family members and friends,” said Barone. “In 2016, we received such amazing support from our Weichert friends and family, whose generosity helped us raise a record $170,000 to benefit breast cancer research. We also officially reached a cumulative fundraising amount of $1 million over 16 years of hosting this event. With the continued support we anticipate, we hope to be able to exceed our 2016 donation this year.”

Individuals and businesses are invited to participate in the fundraiser, which features an afternoon of golf. Team awards will be given out for first and second place, and there will be contests for both men and women for Longest Drive, Closest to the Hole and Straightest Drive. In addition, hole-in-one prizes feature 2017 luxury automobiles, and there will also be a raffle with the grand prize of an LCD television.

A donation of $399 provides individuals a round of golf with cart, lunch, photo and post-tournament three-hour buffet cocktail reception. For a donation of $175, an individual may attend only the buffet cocktail reception and awards banquet.

For those not wishing to golf, there are three non-golfer options for the same $399 donation. The first is a three-hour Spa Treatment package that includes a one-hour signature massage, one-hour facial, manicure, pedicure, lunch and buffet cocktail reception. There is also a Golf Clinic package for novice to advanced golfers that includes three hours of instruction, club rentals, lunch and the buffet cocktail reception. Also offered is the Member-For-A-Day package, which allows participants to take advantage of the many facilities available at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, including access to a golf clinic and the driving range, a tennis clinic, a full-body or neck and back massage, a yoga class, various exercise or swimming opportunities, simply lounging by the pool, as well as lunch and the buffet cocktail reception.

A range of seven sponsorship levels ensures an affordable sponsorship option for businesses – both large and small. Contributions of gifts and prizes are also welcome from businesses as donations.
