Mark Ackermann Appointed Regional Vice President in Virginia, Named Weichert Manager of the Year

Weichert, Realtors is pleased announce that Mark Ackermann has been named a regional vice president in Virginia. Ackermann will be responsible for the management and growth of 12 Weichert sales offices in Virginia including Alexandria/Old Town, Annandale, Arlington, Eastern Prince William County, Fair Oaks, Fredericksburg, Great Falls, Lake of the Woods, McLean/Old Dominion, Reston/Herndon, Vienna and Warrenton. In addition to his role as regional vice president, Ackermann will continue to manage the Alexandria/Old Town sales office.

In addition, Ackermann was named a Weichert 2015 Manager of the Year for the Virginia region, previous to his promotion. The award recognizes and honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional management skills and led their office to achieve outstanding results in 2015. Ackermann was specifically noted for his success in recruiting, open houses and improving his office’s sales activity.

Ackermann brings more than 21 years of real estate experience to his new role, and has successfully led the Weichert Alexandria/Old Town sales office since being named its sales manager in November 2014. Throughout his career, Ackermann has proudly been recognized as one of the top real estate agents in the country by multiple organizations.

A resident of Loudoun County in Virginia for over 20 years with his wife and three children, Ackermann graduated from Rutgers University, earning a business management degree.

In a related announcement, Weichert, Realtors has made several management shifts within its Virginia sales offices. Effective immediately, William Wiard will manage the Vienna sales office, Kelli Walker will manage the Front Royal sales office, Nick Brown will manage both the Fredericksburg and Lake of the Woods sales offices, Diane Moreland will manage the Burke sales office and Richard Bridges will manage the Eastern Prince William County sales office.
