Weichert Rings in the Holidays with Another Successful Toy Drive

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – The Weichert Family of Companies concluded its 32^nd annual toy drive by collecting more than 21,000 toys for less fortunate children this holiday season. Toys were collected by Weichert, Realtors sales offices, corporate employees and franchise affiliates and were provided to various charities throughout the country.

“After our 32^nd Toy Drive, it’s humbling to witness the consistent display of generosity and willingness to help those less fortunate,” said Jim Weichert, president and founder of Weichert, Realtors.  “After another successful toy drive, I’d like to recognize our employees and those in the community for their contributions and thoughtfulness this holiday season.”    

In addition to the toys collected, Weichert collected monetary contributions totaling more than $12,000 and donated nearly 300 articles of clothing, food and other items as well.  Charities like Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Salvation Army, Childhelp USA, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Camden Rescue Mission, Jersey Battered Women Service and Toys for Tots benefited from this year’s efforts.
