MORRIS PLAINS, NJ – Often to the surprise of first-time buyers, the home buying process involves much more than simply finding a home that meets their needs.  From obtaining a mortgage pre-approval to finding a locksmith to change door locks after moving in, the list of tasks a homebuyer must complete before being able to relax in their new home can seem endless.

It should come as no surprise then that as buyers learn more about the many intricacies involved in a real estate transaction, they see more value in a full-service solution.  In fact, the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) recently reported that 96 percent of buyers think receiving all services from a single provider would make the home buying process easier.  As a result, NAR has seen a 45 percent increase in recent years of the number of buyers choosing full service brokerages.

Given today’s consumer demand for a full service experience, it’s more important than ever for sales associates to have the ability to quickly and easily connect clients to a financial representative right within their own sales office and to be able to provide a host of services to make moving a smooth process.  In a recent survey of nearly 900 Weichert sales associates, 97 percent of respondents said they found it beneficial to work for a company that offers a full range of real estate-related services.

For years, Weichert has offered clients one-stop shopping under one roof through Weichert Gold Services, the company’s suite of real estate related services. Among the many home buying services available to clients are mortgage credit approvals and home financing, homeowner’s insurance, title insurance and closing services, a home protection plan, moving services, and an array of home-connection services that cover every task from U.S. postal address changes to utilities cancellations, transfers and start-ups.

Diane Boschini, a sales associate in Weichert’s Germantown, Md. office, said one of the biggest contributions to her success has been the team support that comes with the Weichert name.

“I’ve found it to be an enormous benefit to work for a company that offers so many useful services to its clients, said Boschini.  “Throughout many occasions, I’ve seen mortgage, insurance, and title and closing services questions come up during the home buying process and it’s been a huge comfort to know that there are experienced Weichert team members ready with answers and results.”

Nearly half of the sales associates surveyed said that they have received business in the past specifically because they work for a full service real estate company. Those results are likely a direct result of Weichert’s ongoing commitment to providing sales associates with the resources to answer all of their clients’ needs – before, during, and after closing.

“Today’s time-pressured buyers want convenience and minimal hassle,” said Stephen Adamo, president of Weichert Financial Services.  “The Weichert Gold Services program is designed to meet this demand and, in doing so, gives our sales associates a tremendous advantage in the competitive real estate market.”

Kelly Mitchell, sales associate at Weichert’s Vernon, N.J. office, agrees that Weichert’s full service business model sets the company apart from other real estate brokerages she has worked for in the past and shares why Weichert sales associates can feel confident when telling customers that selling and buying through Weichert is the best option.

“Clients feel more comfortable working with a full service company because they feel more protected throughout the entire process,” said Mitchell.  “With the assurance provided through Weichert’s Gold Service performance guarantee, buyers know they are in good hands.”
