Weichert, Realtors® Appoints Lou Cecconi Director of Real Estate School in New Jersey

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Bill Spadea, vice president of career development for Weichert, Realtors®, announced the promotion of Lou Cecconi to Director of the Weichert Real Estate School in New Jersey.
In his new role, Cecconi will be responsible for the direction and administration of real estate courses offered in 20 licensed locations throughout the New Jersey. The Weichert Real Estate School, the largest school system of its type in New Jersey, provided license courses to more than 5,100 students in 2006.
“The Weichert Real Estate School is privileged to have someone with Lou’s intellect, experience and ability to oversee our flagship school,” said Spadea. “Lou’s enthusiasm for teaching and educating will help our school continue to provide the finest real estate courses available.”
Prior to his appointment to Director, Cecconi served in a number of capacities since joining the Weichert Family of Companies in 2002, including residential sales, branch management and most recently, course instructor. Cecconi joined Weichert after more than 32 years in the banking and securities field that included 10 years as an examiner with the New York State Banking Department and 22 years with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.
Cecconi holds a bachelors degree in history and economics from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in management and supervision from Central Michigan University. He resides in Randolph, N.J., with his wife Pat.
