MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Martin J. Rueter, president of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors®, has announced that Robert Harris has joined the company as Business Development Consultant, supporting Kirk Miller, Vice President, Business Development. Based in Chicago, Harris is developing franchises in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, California, Arkansas, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Minnesota and Missouri.
A REALTOR® and Broker for five years, Harris is licensed as a REALTOR®, Broker and Real Estate Instructor in Illinois.
Before joining Weichert® this year, Harris was Director, Business Development in the Midwest for another real estate franchise organization from 2004 to 2006. Between 2001 and 2004 he was a top performer and sales manager for a real estate franchise office, where he supervised and trained approximately 40 agents and administrative personnel. Experienced in residential and commercial sales and business development, he was Salesman of the Year in 2002.
From 1989 to 2001 Harris held progressively more responsible positions in telecommunications account management and product management with AT&T, SBC Corporation and Bell South.
