Weichert, Realtors® Wins Award For Record Participation in Online Training

Award Highlights Weichert Dedication to Training

 

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Weichert, Realtors® announced that it recently won an award from a national online learning company for the highest number of course completions among that company’s clients.

 

Weichert won the Empowerment Award for the highest course completions from Learn.com, the worldwide leader for proven on-demand learning automation software and services.  Learn.com provides Weichert with capabilities for delivering online courses, or eLearning, to sales associates and employees from Weichert’s internal web site.

 

Weichert said that experienced and new sales associates and company employees have now completed nearly 85,000 online training courses, with most agents completing several courses.

 

“When we train our associates effectively, that translates into better service for our customers--the core Weichert philosophy,” said Mary Banen, vice president of training and development at Weichert, Realtors.  “Our focus on education and continuous learning for our people results in better overall service to our customers.”

 

Weichert currently offers online approximately 30 real-estate specific courses, in addition to Microsoft® Office and other technology courses, to help sales associates in company-owned and franchise offices improve their skills and make optimal use of their time.  Weichert also provides additional online resources for sales office managers.  Weichert’s eLearning courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

through an internal web site, and they supplement classroom training at Weichert headquarters campus and regional training facilities, the company said.  New sales associates attend an intensive three-week training session, where they learn Weichert business methods.  In addition, the company’s Mentor Program teams each new sales associate with an experienced Sales Associate Mentor for guidance.
