Weichert, Realtors Opens First Franchise in West Virginia, Adds Four Franchises in Virginia

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. –Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors®, today announced the addition of four new franchise offices in Virginia and the first franchise office in West Virginia. Weichert, Realtors® is the nation’s largest privately owned provider of real estate and home ownership services.
In welcoming the new affiliates, Martin J. Rueter, president of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, said, “Seeing these quality companies come aboard is very gratifying. The five new Weichert affiliates include:
§ WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Baron & Snipes Co., Glen Allen, VA – This 10-year-old agency serving Greater Richmond is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Jeanette Baron-Snipes, broker, and Harry Snipes.
§ WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Four Oaks, Charlottesville, VA – 27-year real estate veteran Gayle Taylor is the broker-owner of this new office.
§ WEICHERT, REALTORS® – T.Y. Associates, Forest, VA – Another husband-and-wife team, brokers Teresa and Yesh Khanna, own this young agency, which serves the Lynchburg area.
§ WEICHERT, REALTORS® – The Walls Group, Newport News, VA – This new office was launched by Broker-Owner Betty Walls, a real estate professional for 23 years. The office serves the historic Virginia peninsula.
§ WEICHERT, REALTORS® – American Realty, Inc., Martinsburg, WV – Broker-owner Machelle Lewis opened Weichert’s first West Virginia franchise, which has a team of 17 professional sales associates.
