Weichert Relocation Resources Strengthens Leadership, Market Position in Canada

9/1/2005

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. –– Weichert Relocation Resources Inc. has strengthened its management team in Canada, naming Terri Oliver and Wade Cuthbertson as Client Service Directors. Oliver and Cuthbertson will be responsible for fostering and maintaining client partnerships and driving customer service initiatives at the company’s Toronto and Calgary offices, respectively. They will both report to Bob Croteau, VP, Canada.

“With a combined thirty-three years of corporate relocation experience, Terri and Wade bring an inherent understanding of the unique needs of companies moving into, across and out of the Canadian market,” said Michelle Nerny, SVP, Mobility Solutions. “Their extraordinary talent and proven client service focus will add tremendous depth to our team.”

Oliver, a 16-year veteran of the relocation and real estate industries, brings extensive HR and policy development knowledge to her role. She previously served as International HR & Services Manager for Siemens Canada Limited, and, prior to that, worked as International and Relocation Policy Manager for Prudential Relocation. She has earned the Canadian Employee Relocation Council’s (CERC) Relocation Specialist designation.

A noted authority on domestic, global and cross-border relocation, Cuthbertson has over 17 years of experience in workforce mobility. He worked for a number of relocation firms, including ERS Ltd., PHH Relocation and HFS Mobility Services, before establishing Cuthbertson Macdonell & Associates, an independent global relocation consulting services firm. He has earned the CERC’s Canadian Employee Relocation Professional (CERP) designation and Worldwide ERC’s Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation.

These appointments come on the heels of significant expansion throughout the Canadian market. Over the past year, Weichert Relocation Resources has added such leading companies as Shell Canada, Royal Bank of Canada, Bombardier, Albian Sands, Irving Oil and Terasen Gas to its client roster.

“Our steady growth and successful market penetration throughout Canada can be attributed, quite simply, to our ability to provide superior customer service experiences,” said Jim Schneider, SVP. “Our reputation in this market has never been stronger, and it’s a tribute to the teams in our Toronto, Calgary and Montreal offices.”
